In addition to our Second Opinion Medical Support services, our latest tele-consult support services facilitate patient’s access to independent second opinion on diagnoses and treatments via video conferencing. You can either make you own appointment directly online or contact one of our local hospital or clinic partners to make the necessary arrangements and use their facilities on the date and time of the videoconferencing session.
What to Expect
The tele-consult support service is ideal for patients who need specific medical advice but do not intent to travel abroad. If you, your family member or loved ones are faced with a serious medical condition, the knowledge that you can access the best medical specialty doctors from our partner hospitals in Singapore without the patient having to leave the community is reassur-ing. You can contact any of our partner hospital or clinic to book an e-appointment and they will contact you within 2 business days. Your local healthcare provider’s patient case handler will help submit your medical records, test results, and/or x-rays to our overseas doctor for review and contact you directly to confirm your preferred appointment date and time. By submitting your case online, you will need to agree with the terms and conditions of our Personal Data Pro-tection Act. On the day of the appointment, please be at your healthcare provider’s reception lobby 20 minutes before your scheduled remote consulting time (Singapore Time Zone). Your tele-consult appointment is private and confidential as it is conducted in a private suite and both your local doctor and the Singapore specialty doctor would already have reviewed your case. Your 30 minutes English language tele-consult session begins and you’ll have a chance to see, hear and speak with a Singapore medical specialist and discuss your medical situation via a high definition screen.
