About Dr. SUM Satha, MD, FACE
Dr. SUM Satha obtained his diploma in Internal Medicine from University of Health Sciences, Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2006. He subsequently received 2 years training in Endocrinology in a University Hospital in France (Louis Pasteur University, Strasbourg) from 2006 to 2008.
After returning back to Cambodia, he worked as a senior consultant at Calmette Hospital and he was appointed as Chief of Internal Medicine Unit in 2013.
In 2020, he received Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE). Dr. SUM Satha is the first Cambodian doctor elected as Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.
Currently, he is a lecturer at University of Health Sciences (Phnom Penh, Cambodia). He also the founder of CarnetDia App, the first diabetic app in Cambodia.
