Dr. Kosama Chukmol

Dr. Kossama is an ophthalmologist with expertise in Glaucoma and Neuro-ophthalmology. She graduated from the Ophthalmology Residency Training (ORT) Program in 2012 from the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Cambodia. In 2018, Dr. Kossama completed her Glaucoma fellowship from Thammasat University, Thailand and is currently a fellow of Neuro-ophthalmology.

Dr. Kossama is a pioneer in the field of glaucoma in Cambodia, dedicating her work into early diagnosis and management of glaucoma to preserve a good quality of life for patients. She is also skilled in glaucoma surgery, including trabeculectomy with special interests in Glaucoma Drainage Implantation (GDI) and minimal invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Apart from her clinical work, Dr. Kossama holds a position in the Cambodian Ophthalmological Society (COS) committee and is an ophthalmology lecturer at UHS.
