Orthodontics is a specialised branch of dentistry in the treatment of irregularities in the teeth and jaws. Thought dentists and orthodontists both help patients improve their oral health; the latter focuses on correcting bites, occlusion, and the straightness of teeth which affects the facial structure. Orthodontics addresses alignment issues by guiding teeth into better positions with dental braces as well as surgical procedures like extrac-tions due to overcrowding.
